Regulatory Norm No. 1 establishes general provisions on occupational safety and health in Brazil, acting as a basis for other standards. Its function is to ensure a safe work environment, preventing accidents and occupational diseases, through guidelines such as Occupational Risk Management (GRO) and the Risk Management Program (PGR).
